Child Safety Standards

1. Overview
PatNote is a professional medical collaboration platform designed exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals. The platform is not intended for use by minors. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material of any kind.
2. Age Restrictions
PatNote does not permit users under the age of 16 to create accounts or use the platform. All users must authenticate via verified Google accounts or phone-based one-time password (OTP) verification, ensuring that accounts are tied to verified adult identities.
3. Zero Tolerance Policy
PatNote maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes children will result in:
- Immediate suspension and termination of the offending account
- Preservation of all relevant evidence
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Reporting to local and national law enforcement authorities
4. Content Moderation
We employ the following measures to prevent the distribution of CSAE material on our platform:
- All accounts are tied to verified identities through Google authentication or phone verification
- Image and media sharing is restricted to authenticated medical professionals only
- User-reported content is reviewed promptly by our moderation team
- Accounts found to violate our policies are permanently banned
5. Reporting
If you encounter any content or behavior on PatNote that you believe exploits or endangers children, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:
- In-App: Use the "Report" option available within the app to flag content or users
- Email: Contact us at info@cydratech.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report"
All reports are treated with the highest priority and are reviewed within 24 hours. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
6. Compliance
PatNote complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy
- Applicable regional and national laws regarding the protection of minors
We regularly review and update our safety practices to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving standards and regulations.
